Description and Requirements
Responsibilities:
Be a trusted advisor in a variety of strategic and high-impact projects, guiding stakeholders through strategic planning to execution
Understand all touch points, dependencies, and integration aspects across all Workday modules to provide comprehensive solutions to the business partners
Understand different country regulatory and statutory requirements and how these can be met with Workday
Lead product architecture design for Workday HCM and Finance solutions
Participate in broader Information Services (IT) architecture governance
Effectively and actively engage on multiple, parallel projects
Partner with stakeholders and leaders to design Workday release roadmaps that contribute to the adoption of new features, continuously innovating for the internal customers
Conduct complex technology and system assessments for ERP solutions built around Workday HCM, Workday Finance and Avature
Manage 3rd party vendor relationships - Licensing and Professional Services
Strive to innovate and suggest new approaches to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively
Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels
Participate in Workday Community Groups and influence the Workday Product Teams on their roadmap
Lead the development of low code solutions in Workday
Provide extensive support regarding reporting, data structures all all work processes in Workday
Coach, mentor, hire, and manage team members for performance
Provide systems’ engineering and pre-sales level support for external clients
Lead training and certification activities for the internal teams
Requirements (for TI internal employees. This does not apply to external)
Meeting or exceeding all metrics in your current role for the last 6 months.
Minimum of 95% Attendance.
Minimum of 1 year at TELUS International.
Minimum of 6 months in the current position.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field
Strong understanding of HR concepts/business processes (HCM, Recruitment, Talent, Compensation, Payroll) - Workday PRO certification is a plus
Experience with Workday products Implementation for large, global multinational companies
Minimum 3 full cycle large Workday HCM ERP deployment as a result of M&As
5+ years of experience Workday related products (HCM, Recruitment, Talent, Absence and Time Tracking, Compensations, Help, Reporting and Extend)
2+ years managing cross-functional teams from different geographies
2+ years of Workday Integration design (Web Services API, EIB, Studio)
3+ years of experience dedicated to Workday HCM configuration
3+ years of experience with Avature CRM
Experience as a solution architect
Ability to interact and provide solutions to all levels of an organization including executives and C-Level
Ability to design Current and Future state maps to define requirements
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent people person who contributes to and enjoys a positive work culture
Stakeholder-focused approach
Skills and Competencies
Solid Workday experience (HCM, Compensations, Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence, Benefits, recruitment, Talent and Performance management, and Help). Preference for certified professionals
Avature (CRM and Referral)
Knowledge of Workday Finance and connections with HCM
Workday Finance (PSA, Procurement and other financial processes)
Agile methodologies

Innovative and easy to adapt
Leadership or Technical architecture experience with a large enterprise
Critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems

Position Overview:
TELUS International’s IT division is looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented candidate, who will act as trusted technical advisor on current and future technology architecture and strategy. This position is well-suited to a self-starter skilled at stakeholder engagement, as will play a key role in the multi-year roadmap planning for ERP HR solutions, centered predominantly around Workday. The right candidate is also a highly organized, strong and clear communicator who pays attention to detail and is comfortable interacting with team members in different roles in various geographic regions and time zones.
