Position Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Manager of FP&A, as a Financial Analyst within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you will support in building the profitable growth of the Commercial organization, help the team predict revenue and utilize sales funnel data, highlight key risks and opportunities, analyze plans to develop revenue and efficiency opportunities, support systems implementation enabling financial process automation and drive improvements in existing processes through technology transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Finance, Commercial, Operations and other cross functional teams to gather relevant information for strategic planning and performance measurement
- Facilitate the internal alignment with Commercial primes with continued scalability and efficiency by aligning account segmentation, supporting interlock with Operations and other initiatives
- Collaborate with Sales Operations and Global Finance on monthly review of bookings, book-to-bill analysis and sales funnel interlock
- Contribute to the monthly forecast processes, annual budgeting, long term planning and strategic planning processes, with a Commercial focus
- Reviews Sales commissions calculation, obtaining Finance approvals and liaise with other teams as needed
- Collaborate with the Finance team on data analytics projects and reporting requirements as needed, including Salesforce and Workday ERP projects
- Prepare, review and update client pricing models and proposals as needed
- Assist with Commercial expense planning, reporting and analysis of initiatives
- Support contract, project and customer creation and master data maintenance
- Collect and disseminate information by leveraging data warehouse and business intelligence tools
- Prepare analysis and presentation materials for leadership meetings
- Take ownership of enhancements and improvements to Finance and Commercial processes
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting and/or business analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA designation preferred
- Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) or other productivity tools such as Microsoft Office
- Proficient knowledge of Workday/Adaptive Insights or other large ERP/Planning systems is considered an asset
- Candidates with experience using Business Intelligence tools such as Sisense, Google Data Studios, Tableau or PowerBI will be given extra consideration
