Description and Requirements

Information Technology Support Technician-

Location: onsite in our Dublin office (Dublin1)

This is an excellent opportunity to join our fast growing team! As an Information Technology Support Technician you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk - Servicenow.

You will be responsible for administration, internal support and maintenance of TELUS International PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment. Tasks include end user support both on site and remote support for work from home end users and performing PC maintenance, upgrades, configurations and equipment deployments.

As IT Support Technician you will:

  • Manage Windows workstations, MacOS devices, mobile devices (phones and tablets), printers and all related equipment.

  • Provide HelpDesk Support and resolve Incidents and Requests.

  • Have knowledge about Print Services.

  • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.

  • Assist with on-boarding of new users.

  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.

  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.

  • Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution.

  • Asset Management.

  • Provide remote Support.

  • Other duties including On Call rotations may be added and/or assigned as needed.


  • Previous experience in a similar role is a must

  • Knowledge about Mac and PC hardware, Printers, Scanners, Computer Peripherals, Mobile devices (iOS, Android)

  • Knowledge about Windows 7, Mac OSX, GoogleApps and Office 365.

  • Problem troubleshooting and solving techniques.

  • Basic Network knowledge: TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS.

  • Problem troubleshooting and solving techniques.

  • High motivation and organization to work under pressure with tight timelines on multiple projects with ability to prioritize tasks
