Position Overview:

This opportunity resides in the TELUS International US Finance team supporting the contact center and global operations. As a member of the TELUS International Finance team, you will be providing support to the Finance, IT and Facility team by maintaining the asset register and ensuring sox compliance.

Specific Responsibilities May Include:

  • Create good receipts for all incoming assets to assist in three-way match process

  • Create asset tags to aid in tracking of all assets purchased

  • Create and develop asset registration in Workday

  • Approve and monitor deployment for all assets taken off site and returned, including mapping registered assets to individual Workday ID’s

  • Assist in and prepare quarterly review for impairment of assets

  • Schedule and perform annual physical count and verification of assets

Required Experience, Skills & Competencies:

  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills or Google Sheets

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build good working relationships with and influence others at all levels in the organization

  • Capable of working independently in a high pace environment with competing deadlines

  • Proactive in dealing with issues independently and adaptable to change

Preferred Experience, Skills & Competencies:

  • BS in Accounting/Finance

  • Experience working with ERP Software (Workday preferred)

  • Past experience maintaining databases and performing data analytics
