TELUS International is looking for an experienced Marketing Communications Manager with a passion for creative ideation, storytelling and podcasting. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, you will be a pivotal member of our global marketing team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead strategic content planning for the TELUS International Studios, a podcast exploring digital customer experience trends relevant to today’s business leaders.
  • Develop and manage the production of bi-monthly episodes, including the research of topics, episode scripting and editing of transcripts.
  • Pitching, booking and coordinating with suitable guests
  • Editing interviews for clarity, time, continuity, and impact
  • Closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on supporting promotional
  • strategy, including articles, digital ads, social media posts and more.
  • Analyze performance across all platforms and communities as part of a continual
  • evaluation of content and strategy.
  • Produce supporting marketing content such as video, infographics, articles and more.
  • As the producer of TELUS International Studios, you will collaborate with multi-functional, multi-regional teams to create engaging episodes that drive brand awareness and audience growth. Your advanced skills in strategic thinking, demonstrated excellence in communication and the proven ability to deliver measurable results in a fast-paced and demanding environment will be valued.

Knowledge, skills, abilities:

  • Ability to work from a remote/home office and effectively deliver measurable results in demanding environments with diplomacy and adaptability while handling multiple tasks, prioritizing activities, and meeting deadlines.

  • Proven strategic planning, project management, and problem-solving, including experience managing external agencies / partners.

  • Excellence in research, writing, scripting, editing and proof-reading

  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback

  • Strong analytical, research, conceptual and creative skills with the ability to anticipate,

    interpret and integrate insights and complex industry trends into cohesive, focused communication strategies to support business objectives

  • Solid understanding of sharing content via social media and other appropriate channels

  •  Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in podcast marketing, including hosting platforms

  • Understanding of SEO best practices would be an asset

Education:

Undergraduate degree in journalism, marketing, corporate communications or equivalent education and experience.

Experience:

At least 3 years’ experience in an agency, audio journalism, corporate communications, and/or B2B marketing environment developing and executing external / customer-facing communications plans

Experience with podcast marketing would be a significant asset Writing samples will be requested.
