The Technical Account Senior Manager (TASM) is a people management role responsible for overseeing the Technical Account Managers (TAM). The TASM handles certain geographic regions in the TELUS International Digital Solutions (TIDS) team globally. The role requires a clear understanding of the responsibilities of a TAM. The TASM should be able to function as a TAM, to support client’s requirements if the TAM is not able to do so. The TASM is an escalation point for the TAM incase of critical incidents or projects. The TASM should have a broad understanding of the client’s technology as well as TELUS International’s technical infrastructure to better articulate the business on IT matters. TASM should have a high level background on financial management to help with technical pre-sales. The TASM should be able to train and develop the TAM to meet the business needs.
