Description and Requirements

Service Delivery Manager

Location: Denver, CO

Key Points (Must have):

  • Extensive experience with agile software development
  • Onsite / Offshore Coordination
  • Co-ordinates a diverse matrix team to deliver key projects across Enterprises Services Team which deliver significant benefits for our customers.
  • Partners with a range of internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, update on progress and achieve benefits.
  • Identifies opportunities to resolve risks and issues relating to delivery and any impacts on related components or teams.
  • Leverages project expertise to monitor all actions and activities, from scope to delivery, to ensure adherence to delivery roadmap and time and budget constraints.
  • Identifies and implements ways to improve team, process and service performance and suggests and implements changes.
  • Maintains documentation for the full lifecycle of the project to ensure effective governance is in place and project progress is clearly communicated
  • Manages associated budget as required by local Finance Manager ensuring forecasts and actuals are up to date and associated benefits are underpinned and delivering
  • Improvement focus - You coach and empower teams to anticipate and analyse obstacles in work processes. You support them to develop solutions and implement ways to improve processes and make things more efficient.
  • Issue management - You conduct a deep review of data and issues to quickly reveal the root cause. You recommend short and long-term solutions to complex problems and follow through to make sure we solve them.
  • Risk mitigation – You think laterally about problems and are able to provide thought leadership for relevant stakeholders in order to resolve unforeseen risks and issues. You are analytical and able to consume and process a wide range of technical data to ensure effective decision-making.
  • Be agile - You identify opportunities to use collaborative approaches and continuous improvement. You contribute to projects as a subject matter expert or content owner.

Skills and Experience:

  • Led Agile Development teams
  • Familiar with tools like Rally/Jira
  • Familiar with Agile development concepts like PI planning, Agile metrics
  • Aligned project plans and objectives with customer strategy and values
  • Built and maintained stakeholder relationships across a line of business from the front line to board room; served and managed stakeholder expectations accordingly
  • Supported the interface of your project(s) with the wider delivery roadmap to ensure alignment

Salary and Benefits:

Starting salary for this role is $135,000 commensurate with experience
