Description and Requirements

The primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software application of the organization. This position will act as a technical point of contact for the integration, optimization, and enablement of (but not limited to) Finance and HR ERP software. The ERP Analyst II is a subject matter expert in one or two ERP products ensuring data integrity, configuring and testing software changes, report writing, and analyzing for process improvement opportunities.


Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a main point of contact on one or more ERP software configurations for projects that enhances the existing ERP products such as, but not limited to:

    • Cross application features such as ERP security, business process, mobile, reporting & analytics, organizations, etc.

    • Core Human Capital Management such as time tracking, absence, compensation, talent & performance, benefits, recruitment, etc.

    • Integrations such as massive data uploads, ERP web services, API integrations, Data Transformation (XML, XSLT), Integrations Architecture

  • Conducts in-depth analysis on new system configuration requirements, that is best suited for the business

  • Writes, performs, and provides support on testing configuration changes for the ERP modules they support. Takes ownership of unit testing to ensure that the basic configurations are working as expected. Supports the stakeholders and the quality team during the end-user testing to fix and/or recommend a workaround for any failed test results.

  • Performs data validation and data load as needed on projects

  • Provide support on, researching, and resolving their supported ERP modules’ issues, unexpected results, or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet the requirements of the business.

  • Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of enterprise-level software/system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of upgrades or fixes. Document process and results.

  • Serve as a liaison between the HR and Information Technology (IT) Departments to provide systems support and analysis and to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of the department and users of HR/Finance information systems.

  • Provides project oversight from design through implementation. Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that occur during the course of projects. Monitors project work to ensure that progress is maintained within expected guidelines and is completed on a timely basis.

  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train clients on new processes/functionality. Train new system users

  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Ensure data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

  • Provide support for all HR-related technical systems and integrations.

  • Assists in identifying new HR needs and the software products to fulfill these needs.

Knowledge:

  • B2+ English level written and verbal.

• Oral and written comprehension.

• Appropriate use of language.

  • Knowledge in business process analysis, requirements and design, data modeling, detailed functional design, test planning, and UAT execution.

  • Well rounded on HR Processes (such as payroll, compensation and benefits, labor  relations, talent management, etc)

  • Basic knowledge on ERP web services, API integrations, Data Transformation (XML, XSLT), Integrations Architecture


Studies & Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer information systems, management information systems, or equivalent work experience. 

  • 1+ years experience as a configuration specialist/analyst in ERP Systems - Workday or 3+ years experience on providing ERP System - Workday support including day to day transactions, data loads, system maintenance

  • Experience with enterprise-level software/systems solutions (Workday), including HR, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and/or Finance.
