Reporting to the Manager of Information Services and Technology, Systems Administrator is responsible for managing various servers and applications. Additionally, the Systems Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, troubleshooting, installing, and supporting the company's cloud environment and on-premises virtual infrastructure. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assessing, testing, and selecting new products and technologies, defining, implementing, and maintaining servers, storages, systems, operations systems, and guidelines. The specialist will be responsible for supporting customers and internal systems.

Responsibilities

•  Create and execute strategies to improve the reliability of IT systems.

• Develop unique strategies to implement, support, and protect software systems, data centers, and server farms.

• Work with other departments, other IT groups, or IT companies if required.

• Support and diagnose technical issues involving servers, DNS, certificates, and other systems.

• Determine and identify high-level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with customers or other internal teams.

• Manage Microsoft local Active Directory and Azure AD Connect

• Manage Azure, Intune, and O365 cloud infrastructure

• Manage VMware vSphere environment

• Creating and maintaining company Linux and Windows servers (various versions)

• Work closely with the security team to implement security recommendations

• Participating in regular and ad-hoc meetings

• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft products: Active Directory, O365, Azure, Exchange Online

• 5+ years’ experience with VMware technologies: VCenter, VSphere, VCloud

• 3+ years’ experience with Enterprise network

• Knowledge of Windows and Linux servers

• Familiar with PRTG (monitoring system) and VEEAM (Backup)

• Experience with PowerShell, scripting

• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, project management, and organizational skills.

• A keen interest in learning and continuous improvement of processes and systems.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field

• 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Ideal candidate will be VMware Certified Professional

• Ideal candidate will be a Microsoft Certified Professional

• Great knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office 365 products

• Good knowledge of CISCO Cloud Email Security, CISCO Security Endpoint, and DUO 2FA
