Description and Requirements

Business Continuity Management supports all TELUS International teams by creating, updating, and exercising Business Continuity Plans in order to ensure a continuance of critical business processes despite incidents. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery and leadership in plan development and exercises.


Responsibilities:

  • Document Continuity Plans 

    • Work with Planning Primes to obtain/verify required information

    • Document continuity plan according to corporate templates and processes

    • Provide requirements for Disaster Recovery Plans to IT TAM and IT DRP

    • Adhere to document control processes

  • Exercise Continuity Plans

    • Document coordination efforts for exercise projects

    • Assist Operations and support groups during exercise

    • Document results of exercise

    • Document remediation activities and retesting

  • Assist in Training and Awareness activities.

  • Assist in Incident Management as directed.

  • Accomplish other tasks required by the immediate supervisor.

  • MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) / Google Apps - Proficient 

  • English - CEFRL B2 - Required

    • Oral and written comprehension.

    • Appropriate use of language.

  • Call Center Operations - Advanced


Studies & Experience:

  • University Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management or Marketing is a Plus.

  • Client Facing Experience - Desirable

  • Business process change management experience 

  • Business Continuity Planning experience desired but not required. DRII certification (ABCP) is a definite plus.

  • Experience supporting leadership members in an operational or project role is a plus.
