Description and Requirements

Main Responsibilities:

Supporting the Senior Manager, you enjoy assessment of integration priorities during due diligence to form the integration strategy and approach in partnership with functional senior leaders.  You possess business acumen, strong organization skills and enjoy identifying current state while influencing and building desired future state processes to help form a roadmap for the transition.  You support and drive the timely progression of integration plans in specific functional areas or smaller-scale projects.  You are able to coordinate change management activities within integration or global strategic initiative projects.

  • Minimum of 95% of attendance

  • Minimum of 1 year as an employee of TELUS International 

  • Minimum of 1 year in the current position and current account/department

  • Ability to work effectively with various levels of senior management, cross functional teams and working level team members

  • Desirable experience in integration work resulting from mergers and acquisitions

  • Solid experience in process assessment and improvement

  • Ability to think, act and quickly adapt to strategically and tactical situations required with a bias towards action

  • Able to rapidly form a documented vision to build alignment on business opportunities and paths forward

  • Proven track record of success leading on time, on budget large scale global projects ideally transformational projects

  • Experience building project plans, reporting status fit for senior leadership consumption with strong presentation skills

  • Ability to gain trust, critically think, perform analysis and facilitate with broad groups to gather business requirements while using problem-solving and strong communication skills to influence forming strategic direction


  • English - B2 - Required

    • Oral and written comprehension.

    • Appropriate use of language.

  • Project management methodologies, principles and practices. - Intermediate

  • Process assessment and improvement skills - Required

  • Change management - Intermediate desired

Studies & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in business or information technology

  • PMP designation and previous experience managing projects is an asset

  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience managing cross-functional activities or projects - Mandatory

  • Completed online Courses of IAspire Essentials (12 courses) - Mandatory

Additional Job Description

The Program Manager reports to the Senior Manager in the Global Strategic Initiatives team.  In this role you work with both global internal team members as well as target organization team members to execute the integration of newly acquired companies to TELUS International, in a way that drives rapid value of the acquisition. Your ability to critically think, facilitate, understand the merger and acquisition process will enable fostering a positive employee and target organization experience.
