Are you a skilled IT enthusiast with a passion for providing exceptional technical support and maintaining smooth IT operations? We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented IT Support / Helpdesk (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for internal and external clients, delivering exceptional technical support and ensuring smooth IT operations, upholding the highest service delivery standards.

IT Support / Helpdesk (m/f/d) onsite for our location in Riga

Overview of tasks:
  • Provide technical support to the various technological platforms of the company (hardware, software) and implementing security policies, ensuring connectivity systems, patching, coordinate and monitor the implementation of best practices and support projects, support the area of technology in the development and operation of accounts, among others
  • Physical and Remote Support
  • To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.
  • To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal clients and help them resolve any hardware or software problems.
  • Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice.
  • To perform changes on distro lists and organizational units within G-suite
  • To complete updates, patches, and software deployments.
  • To perform VLAN Changes
  • Serve as the main POC for any IT related activities happening in the site or sites under their scope
  • Keep adequate IT Asset management controls for the assets under their responsibility.
  • Demonstrate integrity, teamwork, and a problem-solving mindset in all aspects of the role.
We are looking for:
  • A third-year level in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Preferably with 6 months of experience in similar positions.
  • Knowledge of Virtualization technologies under Windows and Linux.
  • Intermediate knowledge of software deployment and networking.
  • Intermediate Network Knowledge (VLAN Changes, Port configuration).
  • Intermediate Active Directory knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Latvian and good English skills (min B1).
  • Distrolist groups and Organizational units knowledge
  • Strong IT troubleshooting skills (Hardware/Software and Networking)
  • Technology certifications (A +, Network +, Server +, MCP, CCNA, ITIL, etc.) are an asset
  • G-suite Certification, PDQ certification and Desktop Central certification are a plus
