Description and Requirements

Key responsibilities

  • Provide prompt end user support for our learning platforms, including troubleshooting, platform loading issues, system failures, and password reset

  • Upload course content and other resources (job aids, curricula, programs) to learning platforms; create knowledge assessments, set up scoring and assign target audience

  • Set up roles and permissions to enable tool governance

  • Conduct course revisions to ensure alignment to standards (format, naming convention, tone) and relevance, including course releases and archive management

  • Perform improvements to learning platforms resulting from end user feedback and metrics

  • Extract reports from learning platforms to support monthly reviews or stakeholder requests

Requirements:

  • 1+ year experience in current position as Developer or closed pensum of Systems Engineer or related fields - Must

  • Schedule flexibility

  • 1 year of tenure as TELUS International team member

Core Competencies:

  • Focusing on customers, knowing my organization, managing self-development, giving support

Functional competencies:

  • Knowledge of SCORM and AICC packages

  • Strong HyperText Markup Language (HTML) knowledge and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

  • Content Management System (CMS) experience

  • Technical end user support

Studies and Experience:

  • 1 year of work experience in technology field or learning platform administration

  • 3 years of studies in Information Technology, Business Administration, Pedagogy, or similar

  • 85% English Proficiency

  • Complete IAspire courses (must)

Additional Job Description

As a Learning Technology Administrator you are responsible for supporting all learning platforms at TELUS International, this includes provisioning new users, and management of the overall workflow supporting the creation and maintenance of courses.
