Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required Certification None Work Experience 1-2 years systems administration experience
Technical Skills 
  • Good exposure on Data Center Environment and enterprise-level LAN, WAN and WLAN engineering design and implementation. 
  • Good knowledge of network environment security and discipline, capacity planning, and general network management best practices. 
  • Good knowledge of enterprise monitoring/server predictability performance trending and reporting. Good knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus Series, F5 Networks Load Balancers, Fortinet – FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Juniper Networks – Netscreen, SRX. Good knowledge of Solarwind and Netbrain.
  • Good knowledge on server OS (Windows, Linux and UNIX). 
  • Good troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good customer service and communication skills (both oral and written), coordination, prioritization and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere and can handle steep learning curve.

Additional Job Description

 Functional Responsibilities
  • Provide first level escalation support from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues. 
  • Repair and recover from hardware or configuration failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
  • Perform daily network monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all appliances, network resources, systems and key processes. Provide first level escalation diagnosis and remediation of issues.
