Learn more at www.telusinternational.com/solutions/ai-data-solutions . Position Overview The team at TELUS International is recruiting a Payments Administrator to join its Payments team. The role is an administrative role working within a busy Payments team, reporting to the Payments manager. This role requires an individual who is highly motivated and is a self-starter. This role can be performed remotely with the requirements 1 day in Ballina office per week. Responsibilities: Batch Processing System Generated Invoices and credit notes Complete monthly timesheet reviews. Assisting with monthly payment runs and payment queries. Regular communication with International/US vendors by e-mail, dealing with payment, banking, and timesheet related queries. Working with other members of the Operations Finance team on Month End Processes including Cost accruals and AP Reviews. Various other ad-hoc reporting as and when required by the Payments team. Testing of system changes for the finance team. Management of Vendor Database system for a large volume of International Vendors. Essential Requirements: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a Business discipline essential 1 year experience working in a Payments team, Payroll, finance or currently working in a backend/Support role within TI and can demonstrate admin experience is essential Detailed knowledge Microsoft Word and using the Internet and email. Advanced Excel user Have the ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as under pressure. Have excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work on your own initiative. Be methodical and organized. Have the ability to multitask effectively. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment Internal applicants must have 9 months tenure in their current role and Manager Sign Off Ideally the candidate will also meet the following requirements: Previous payments experience working in a multinational environment is a distinct advantage.
