Description and Requirements
We are looking out for an experienced Solution Architect with the below skills for a remote long term opportunity.
Key Need: A Solution Architect who has previously worked with telecom clients and has a knowledge or understanding of various IT governance and delivery frameworks based on RUP/ COBIT/ ITIL, Agile, TOGAF/ DevOps, including introduction of cloud-friendly “shared responsibility” models. Should be experienced with NextGen technologies, has experience with design, implementation & consulting experience with distributed applications.
We are looking for a Solutions Architect to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build broad use of TI's utilities directly with our ecosystem of systems integrators, consulting and technology partners.
Your broad responsibilities will include:
- Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
- Defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, developing a deep expertise in the technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using different platforms.
- Being a subject matter expert (SME) on security as it relates to customer applications and services.
As a Solutions Architect, you will provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership while working with a world class sales and business development team. You will lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge with the solution architect community. You will gain the opportunity to learn from, collaborate with, and educate some of the brightest technical minds in the industry today across the breadth of enterprise architecture.
Basic Qualifications:
- Enterprise IT application experience with NextGen technologies that includes IoT, Cloud services, Mobility, Big Data, Digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence, NextGen services.
- Should have knowledge/or understanding of various IT governance and delivery frameworks based on RUP/COBIT/ITIL/Agile/TOGAF/DevOps, including introduction of cloud-friendly “shared responsibility” models.
- Previous experience working with Telecom clients.
- 8+ year’s design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications.
- Should be well versed with Stake holders management.
- Should be able to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
- Should have provided technology solution architecture blue prints.
- Should be open to travel as and when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge with any two - Cloud services, IoT, Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence market segments, customer base and industry verticals.
- Prior experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
- Understanding of application, server, and network security.
- Experience working for or working with consulting companies.
- Experience working for Telecom clients will be needed.
- Demonstrated experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise scale software products using a structured system development life cycle.
