Position Summary 

We are looking for a Linguist to join our AI team! The overall goal of the project is to improve the client’s natural language model by producing high quality training data. The specific tasks will vary over time, but include tagging/annotation, linguistic validation, editing, rewriting, and writing, according to the guidelines provided by the Project Manager.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Tagging/Annotation

  • Linguistic Validation

  • Editing

  • Rewriting

  • Summary Writing

  • Creative Writing

  • Provide high-quality feedback for the fixes

  • Ensure timely delivery as per customer quality requirements

  • Report to Project Coordinator/Manager on a regular basis

 

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree with a major in a language-related discipline, such as linguistics, computational linguistics, language teaching, translation, or technical writing

  • Strong native language competency with professional proofreading, translation, or editorial skills

  • Good knowledge of grammar, punctuation, style, language reforms and implications

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work in a multicultural global team

  • Native-level fluency in American English with strong writing skills and an excellent grasp of English grammar and communication

  • Comfortable working in MS Office tools, especially Excel

  • Ability to learn new technology and tools

  • Desirable qualities: multitasking, proactive, solution-oriented, eye for detail, good with numbers, able to work independently and as part of a team
