Description and Requirements
Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develops, implements, and maintains web interfaces and interactions using HTML5, CSS2/3, JavaScript, and jQuery, jQuery Mobile, XML, AJAX
Creation of pages, promotions, and other assets within our content management systems
Keeps current with new web technologies, coding standards, and best practices
Helps in defining functional and business requirements, reviews wireframes, creates interactive prototypes and follows development guidelines
Tracks issues and bugs with a variety of software programs
Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team that includes server-side developers, information architects, user experience designers, usability engineers, marketers, and merchandisers to determine their needs for assigned projects.
Converts promotions, articles, buying guides, interviews, and other media to HTML/CSS.
Works with Information Technology (IT) and Marketing to ensure the launch of scheduled promotional material.
Requirements and qualifications:
5+ years of experience developing web-based enterprise applications
5+ years of developing within Rest API, MVC, Razor, and Web Services.
Strong technical and architectural experience working with Single Page Application development, responsive web design, and other modern front-end patterns and practices.
5+ years of experience in JavaScript, JQuery (or similar), AJAX, HTML5, CSS and Bootstrap
Proficient understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
Experience with user interface design
Knowledge of performance testing frameworks such as Mocha and Jest
Extensive exExtensive experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
