- To support the activities of the Finance Department on a daily basis
- Responsible for Property, Plant, and equipment (PP&E) and Intangible assets, accounting, asset write-off, asset registration, asset inventory (annual and periodic), and asset tagging
- To post invoices from suppliers related to the purchase of assets
- Maintain an inventory of assets for global and local and tax purposes
- Prepare a monthly package of reports on fixed assets, to analyze and reconcile monthly the balances on the Fixed Assets accounts
- Responsible for scrapping, selling, and writing off fixed assets, and launches, is responsible for and checking the monthly depreciation expense in the accounting program.
- To prepare an annual budget for PP&E and Intangible assets, as well as a monthly updated budget - triage. Monitor the implementation of the budget.
- To organize a weekly meeting of the local team for discussion and approval of the received requisitions for the purchase of Property, Plant and equipment, and Intangible Assets.
- To support the preparation of business cases, to sort and maintain a register of approved requisitions.
Our Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Knowledge of IFRS, the Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (regardless of industry, BPO would be an advantage though)
- Prior experience with ERP systems
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Advanced analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Team player
- Fluency in English
