As a MEAN Stack Developer at TELUS International Digital Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and maintaining cutting-edge web applications using the powerful MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) technology stack. This on-site, 3-month contract-to-hire role in Charlotte, NC, provides an exciting opportunity to showcase your 8+ years of experience and expertise in web development. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and responsive web applications using the MEAN stack.

• Enhance applications for optimal speed, scalability, and user experience.

• Implement comprehensive security and data protection mechanisms.

• Integrate front-end elements seamlessly with server-side logic for exceptional performance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, ensuring smooth functionality.

• Stay updated on emerging trends in web development and the MEAN stack ecosystem.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 8+ years of experience in the area.

• Proven experience as a MEAN Stack Developer with a strong project portfolio.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, particularly the Angular framework.

• Expertise in MongoDB and MySQL databases, including design and querying.

• Solid grasp of server-side CSS preprocessors, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous request handling.

• Proficiency in backend technologies, including Node.js and Express.js.

• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.

• Knowledge of front-end and back-end performance optimization techniques.

• Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative team spirit.

• Effective communication abilities, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with cloud platforms and deployment processes is a plus.

Education/Certifications  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
