Your role: 

As an active member of TELUS International, you will be at the heart of a major TELUS transformation program supporting as a Developer.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Develop Ansible playbooks to automate:

• Network health check 

• Firewalls health check

• On-demand execution of playbooks.

• Monitor the results of executions and raise flags whenever necessary. 

Required Skills: 

• At least 3 years experience programming in an Automation Environment with Ansible

• or equivalent: Puppet, Chef, CFEngine, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, Rudder, SaltStack, Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Bamboo, Nagios, Groundworks, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, AWS Systems Manager Automation.

• At least 3 years experience programming in YAML and JINJA;

• or equivalent: RAML, TOML, NestedText, JSON, Docker Compose, JavaScript, PHP, HTML5.

• At least 3 years experience working with Git or GitLab code repository and version control;

• or equivalent: Azure DevOps Server, Helix Core, Subversion (SVN), AWS CodeCommit, Google Cloudsource, Rational ClearCase, Mercurial, Micro Focus AccuRev, CVS, BitBucket, Perforce.

• Knowledge of Python or equivalent: Java, R Language, PERL, PHP, Ruby, C/C++.

• Knowledge of Integrated Development Environments such as Microsoft VSCode, Atom, Che, Sublime, JetBrains, Brackets, Pylint, PyCharm, or equivalent.

Knowledge

• English - B2 or above - Required (Oral and written comprehension).

Desirable Skills: 

• Knowledge of UNIX (Linux, AIX, Solaris) and Windows Operating Systems. 

• Knowledge of Hypervisors.
