Position Overview:
The Human Resources Business Partner provides support to the Senior HR Manager, HR Director and HR Team. This person would perform human resources-related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, investigations, New Hire Orientation, and HR policy implementation.
Specific Responsibilities May Include:
- Partners with Management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, employment laws, standards and government regulations to the floor
- Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement
- Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment/discrimination allegations
- Counsels employees on work related matters
- Handles employee separations
- Reviews and approves corrective counseling
- Conducts investigations of inappropriate conduct, harassment and discrimination claims
- Facilitates or provides HR policies training (including new-hire orientation) to the workforce
- Performs related duties as assigned
Required Experience, Skills & Competencies:
- 2+ years of professional administrative experience
- 2+ years of Human Resources Experience
- Flexible schedule availability
- Basic understanding of Human Resource principles
- Ability to use critical thinking to solve HR related problems
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Ability to maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Preferred Experience, Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of employment laws or practices
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
