Now we are looking for a Jr. Accounting Specialist who has the following criteria and will add strength to our team. 

Job Description

  • Responsible for the accounting (supplier and client invoices, bank statements, petty cash, travel expenses, bookings related to month end closing) for our Turkish company including 2 branches

  • Preparation of monthly and yearly closings

  • Issuing of client and intercompany invoices

  • Bank and Cash Transactions

  • Reconciliation of all accounts (supplier, client, salary etc.)

  • Communication with external auditors, tax consultants, tax office, other institutions

  • Close collaboration with Payroll Accounting and Group Controlling

  • General administrative tasks (mail handling, petty cash)

Requirements

  • Residency in İstanbul

  • Have a university degree in related studies

  • 1 year experience in Accounting Department

  • Good knowledge of Turkish fiscal law

  • Verbal and written skills in English is a must

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)

  • High reliability, excellent analytical and communication skills, flexibility

  • Excellent reporting knowledge, ability to report daily/weekly/monthly

  • Ability to learn quickly and handle complexity, change and ambiguity

  • Military service should be completed for male candidates
