Position: Release Coordinator (Project Manager) 

Position Overview: 
  • As a Release Coordinator, you will focus on the Release Management lifecycle, which includes coordinating and the management of the releases across multiple teams. 
  • You will also help build automated release processes in support of deploying various applications across the environments. 
  • You will manage multiple releases across multiple environments collaborating with multiple groups. 
  • As a Release Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing critical migration projects to Google Cloud, specifically focusing on GKE. 
  • The successful candidate will possess exceptional technical expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), WebLogic Clusters, cloud migration, and release management. 
  • This role involves working with a diverse team of onshore and offshore professionals, reporting directly to the Director of Technology offering daily updates to C-Level on the Client Side, and serving as the driving force behind the successful execution of the migration program. 
Key Responsibilities 
Technical Skills 
1. End to end migration of WebLogic Clusters to GKE. 
2. Develop and implement a comprehensive migration strategy, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to best practices. 
3. Collaborate with cloud architects, WebLogic administrators, developers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and migration plans. 
4. Troubleshoot technical issues and guide the team to resolve them effectively. 
5. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies to make informed decisions during the migration process. 

Project Management Skills 
1. Define and implement a standardized deployment process for handling releases 
2. Create and coordinate release schedules working with Program Management and Dev management 
3. Responsible for coordinating/deploying the actual release of software on the Cloud 
4. Coordinate with stakeholders to define or improve processes for migrating to the cloud 
5. Proven track record of managing multiple Cloud Migration project deliverables in a fast-paced environment 
6. Ability to assess technical risk for complex issues and decide the best course of action 
7. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project status, challenges, and achievements effectively. 
8. Excellent communication skills, including presentation and project management skills 
9. Identify and mitigate risks/issues, ability to think and execute tasks strategically, and ensure the project remains on track and within budget. 
10. Monitor and report on project progress to the C-Level, Steerco and senior leadership, providing regular updates and actionable insights.
