PROJECT PRE-REQUISITES:
Candidate should be able to work in permanent Night Shifts (6pm IST-3am IST from March to Nov & 7pm IST - 4am IST from Nov to March)
Candidate should be okay with Mandatory “On-Call” support during off-shift hours and during holidays/week-offs for Sev1/Sev2 issues

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Should have minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in any flavors of Linux/Unix such as AIX, Redhat, Centos with experience in Filesystem management, Logical Volume Management, Software management (package, patches), cluster, system recovery etc.
Should have knowledge of Performance tuning, Server / OS Crash analysis, shell scripting.
Extensive experience with NFS/Samba, Patching, LVM, Redhat Cluster Suit.
Good understanding of DNS, LDAP, SSH, HTTP, JBOSS, TCP/IP, and other common network protocols.
Ability to traverse different Operating Systems to accomplish the same tasks e.g. network configuration, user accounts.
Should have Strong Knowledge of Monitoring various Linux components like disk space, CPU, SWAP, and process along with performance monitoring tool.
Ability to work independently under aggressive timelines with varying degrees of complexity and exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices.
Advise and consult with internal customers on risk assessment, threat modeling and fixing vulnerabilities.
AWS Cloud experience a plus in managing AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, AWS Migration Hub, and Server migration services
Design and implementation on AWS Cloud using services like EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, ELB, ECS, Auto - Scaling, S3, Cloud Front, Glacier, Elastic Beanstalk, Certificate manager, Elastic Cache, Route53, Cloud Watch, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Cloud formation.
Additional Job Description
- Provide second level support from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
- Perform daily systems monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.
- Review system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs and tasks.
- Provide second level diagnosis and remediation of issues.
- Install, rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
- Provides monitoring and troubleshooting support of enterprise server systems.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
- Provides input on standards relating to server technology, architecture and processes (security, performance, backup and recovery, etc.).
- Review system design, architecture and process standards for completeness and supportability, and to foster continuous learning and technical development.
