Description and Requirements

Your role:

The essence of the Dev + Service virtualization team will be responsible for design, implementation and testing mainly focused in Java and Web Services. The position requires excellent written and interpersonal skills to build relationships with external and internal clients at various levels.


Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborating with an agile development team daily. 

  • Worked on Unit and Application-level Code Coverage tools like Jacoco, Emma, Cobertura for collecting the coverage matrix.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in Testing SOAP-based Web Services, REST API’s and GRPC Microservices. SOAP UI, Parasoft SOATest, Rest Assure

  • Experience in Service Virtualization using Parasoft Virtualize, CA Dev Test, Wiremock, Mockito

  • Design and Implementation of Open-Source UI Automation frameworks using Selenium, Robot and Cucumber

  • Experience of Applitools, Saucelabs for Browser/Platform Compatibility Testing 

  • Experience in message-based service testing using JMS, Kafka, IBM MQ

  • Implemented and Managed CI/CD process using Jenkins, Azure Devops, and Bamboo allowing scheduling, code updates, generating Nightly Builds and Deployments.

  • Experience working on cloud platforms 

  • Experience working with Windows Batch, Unix Shell for Scripting and Java, 

  • Python for Object-Oriented programming. 

  • Good Working Knowledge on Version Control tools like GitHub

  • Well versed in White Box testing and have experience with Java Unit Testing frameworks like Junit, TestNG, used Mockito & PowerMock for mocking Objects

  • Integrated SonarQube Analyzing Coding Practices and Cleaning the Bad Code

  • Experience working with Apache Maven for Code Build Process

  • Solid Experience in QA Methodologies like Keyword Driven, Behavioral Driven and Model-Based Test Design


Desired qualifications:

  • Depth Understanding of the Agile Software Development and Software Testing Life Cycle 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • GCP, Blazemeter, CA Dev Test, Wiremock, CI/CD (Terraform, Github Actions, Spinnaker).
