Description and Requirements

We are looking for a SAS Developer responsible for collecting and analyzing data, he will also develop custom programming codes.


  • Uses SAS or other software to develop custom programming code to generate summary tables, data listings, graphs and derived datasets as specified in the statistical analysis plan and programming specifications.
  • Works to ensure that outputs meet quality standards and project requirements.
  • Build SAS datasets from telecommunications databases.
  • Develop SAS macros, templates and utilities for data cleaning and reporting.
  • Utilize SDTM guidelines to build datasets.
  • Implement analyses specified in the protocol or the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) while working with the project statistician.
  • Write SAS programs to generate tables, listings, and figures and analysis datasets.
  • Identify and edit checks per the data validation plan or data management plan.
  • Study management reports using SAS.
  • Perform analyses defined in the statistical analysis.
  • Communicate with programming and statistics leads.
  • Utilize SAS programming skills within the protocol team and perform all programming required for clinical trial analysis and reporting.
  • Develop SAS coding and table templates for preparing, processing and analyzing clinical data.
  • Establish monitoring of data transfers for ongoing trials to identify study conduct or data quality issues.


  • Bilingual (English/French)
  • 3+ years of SAS experience developing, configuring, and administering SAS solutions.
  • Strong experience with installation, configuration, and administration of SAS 9.1.3 or higher.
  • Experience with scheduling with LSF Platform Suite built into SAS.
  • Strong experience with SAS BI Server.
  • Knowledge of migrating SAS 9.1.3 to SAS 9.3, including web report studio.
  • Must be knowledgeable of best practices using SAS (enterprise guide, stored processes,
  • information maps, and web reports studio).
  • Strong SQL experience.
  • Experience with performance tuning SAS servers, troubleshooting, and automation of SAS jobs
