Information Services, Applications Development Project Manager - Pradera GT

The Information Technology - Information Services  Project Manager is responsible to manage projects and ensures successful on-time, on-budget delivery of each. Responsibilities include determining project scope, planning resources, time management, budget control and management tied to business cases, tracking project progress, risk management and calculation, monitoring and controlling project internal metrics. Collaborates with all internal departments, operations and/or vendors to ensure proper alignment to the project strategy, objectives within budget.  


Main Responsibilities:  


Estimating time and financial commitment done in business cases and creation of project plans, time management and define, schedules and accurate tasks durations estimation to develop and maintain a realistic project plan, work with clients to identify required changes and communicate to business analysts and development team, among others. Manage issues and risks to avoid negative impact in the projects. Monitor progress, measure project metrics, by collecting and analyzing data from existent project management software or any other source that will allow comparison and action when needed for reporting and documentation, creating and controlling communication strategies for stakeholders, keeping stakeholders and companies boards updated of project status on a periodic, effective and consistent manner. Constantly assess the project against Product Business Case and Project goals to maintain the project value proposition.

Knowledge:

  • English -  B2:

    • Oral and written comprehension.

  • Knowledge of project management processes, techniques and tools, based on PMI and Agile Methodologies. Ability to manage projects using a variety of methodologies (waterfall and agile)

  • Knowledgeable of project management standards and best practices (advanced)

  • Solid understanding of project’s communication, risk and change Management, KPIs, including contingency planning and risk mitigation.

  • Planning and WBS management and maintain high levels of visibility for all stakeholders. 

  • Effective Stakeholders management experience.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage conflict.

  • Strong IT technical knowledge specifically in software development, and/or implementations for in-house and off the shelf.

 

 

Studies & Experience:             

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems or Industrial Engineering or equivalent field -  Required.

  • Experience working in virtual environments with global teams - Required.

  • Experience in managing web software platforms or products with associated SLA´s - Desirable.

  • Experience in strategic planning, change  and risk management - Desirable.

  • Scrum Fundamentals certification - Desirable.

  • Scrum Master or Product Owner certification - Desirable.

  • Experience in SDLC management and monitoring - Desirable.

  • Business analysis experience, creating workbooks, requirement gathering experience - Required.
