Description and Requirements

Job Description:

  • Identifying, assessing, and recommending SFDC solutions;

  • Designing and managing ongoing development of to meet the organization’s mission;

  • Developing using Apex and VisualForce;

  • Customizing fields, layouts, objects, security, reports, and dashboards;

  • Performing configuration, including definition and implementation of Org-wide defaults, Roles, User Profiles, Record Ownership rules, Sharing Rules, etc.;

  • Creating and maintaining profiles, roles, and security;

  • Integrating complementary applications;

  • Integrating Salesforce across various platforms and devices;

  • Performing data loads.

Additional Job Description

The qualified candidate must have:

  • 7+ years’ work experience in a software development environment;

  • 5+ years’ development experience, with a strong focus on Apex and Visualforce development; (familiarity with other object oriented languages: Java, PHP, ASP.NET, Angular JS etc., is considered an asset)

  • Enterprise business application development and systems integration experience working on end-to-end Salesforce projects;

  • Strong coding skills on Visualforce, apex, webservices, Javascripting;

  • Deep understanding of SFDC programming environments (Apex, VisualForce, VSCode, etc.);

  • Knowledge of the architecture of objects and entities like Page Layouts, Standard and Custom Objects, Apex and VisualForce code, etc.

  • Experience with development and configuration in a multi-tiered release environment, including hands-on experience of all deployment activities;

  • Versioning control (we use BitBucket) and continuous integrations (we use Copado)

  • Understanding of databases and data integration tools;

  • Certified SFDC System Administrator and/or Certified SFDC Developer

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills;

  • Mentoring juniors, overseeing code quality and evangelizing best practices

  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a geographically distributed team (remotely working from home);


  • Bilingual (French and English) both in written and verbal communication
