Description and Requirements

Skills:
  • Installing and configuring weblogic domains. 
  • Understanding of Java applications and web services/API. Cloud Skills - working knowledge of GCP, terraform, git, and Git Hub. 
  • Basic understanding of Load Balancing 
  • Ability to understand error messages and troubleshoot issues 
  • Working knowledge of Unix or Linux Exposure to agile methodologies and experience with DevOps pipelines 
  • Knowledge of supporting mission-critical apps in production for operational issues. 
Nice To Have : 
  • WLST/python automation scripting and bash 
  • Knowledge of cloud storage and logging, Google Compute engines Experience with HTTP and HTTPS, TCP/IP troubleshooting, and Internet protocols (e.g., DNS, LDAP, Telnet, SMTP, SNMP). 
Day to Day Responsibilities: 
  • Provide project planning and technical support to the application team application business owners and migration team. 
  • Be the primary point of contact for WebLogic products throughout the application life cycle migration. 
  • Ensure WebLogic readiness, and propose architectural solutions to support WebLogic requirements for migration to the cloud. 
  • Work with clients to support migration and fix any issues in the pre-production and production migration window. 
  • Availability to support production releases and prod issues during offshore or weekends. 
  • Provide status updates to impacted stakeholders.

Additional Job Description

4+ years’ experience working specifically with WebLogic environments is required.
