Description and Requirements

Technology Analyst plays a critical and important role in the day to day operational support. This position is responsible for supporting existing infrastructures for Business Intelligence, Billing, or Message Processing. As a key member of the BIBF team, you will provide day-to-day support and incident/problem management.

• Understand existing client infrastructure. • Monitor existing jobs and provide appropriate support for issues or failures. • Troubleshoot, escalate, provide issue resolution steps and/or perform break fixes. • Monitor and track defect resolution. • Perform PAM and release assigned activities. • Learn and support other tools and applications as required by client. • Perform testing and initial runs. • Provide checking and sign off of new applications for support. • Coordinate with DBAs, SAs and other support teams to perform tasks and resolve issues. • Communicate downtime impact to all stakeholders. • Manage administration of tools used as required by client.

Job Requirements:
  • Advanced technical skills within one of the core relevant technical proficiencies (Operating System, Database, Network, Rational Tool Sets, Schedulers etc).
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with IS systems and the SDLC methodologies.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in relevant ETL/BI tools (for BI) and/or billing/MPS tools (for billing/MPS)
  • Advanced knowledge on DW concepts (for BI).
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Unix and SQL (and other required skills).
