Job Description

  • Facilitates design projects from concept through production and delivery, ensuring schedules, proofs, approvals, file preparation and job archiving have been properly executed
  • Create, revise, and develop attractive and effective designs for communications and branding materials for a variety of media outlets such as print, video, web, and social media to tell our story
  • Preserve, protect, and uphold brand standards
  • Selecting photos and videos, and helping manage archives as needed
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest design trends and techniques, products, and resources
  • Manages and conducts photo and video shoots for various projects
  • Develops and advocates best practices in design
  • Deliver high quality, on brand, scalable graphic solutions and ensure consistent quality content is delivered on time, everytime
  • Creates facilities designs that reflect our fun, caring company culture
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute projects and campaigns as needed
  • Collaborate with the CorpComm team, other internal and external partners, vendors, and distributors in a professional manner

Required skills

  • Ability to take strategic feedback and incorporate into revisions, edits, modifications, resizing and other adjustments to previously completed work
  • Can present a digital work portfolio that showcases an excellence in visual design & creative strategy
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and to adjust to inevitable changes in timelines, deadlines, and project goals
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to work well both independently and in a cross-functional team environment
  • Advance skills in Adobe Premier and After Effects. Intermediate to advance skills with Illustrator and Photoshop.

Additional Job Description

The Creatives Officer will use their skill sets in the areas of videography, graphic design, art direction, facilities design, and photography to sustain the brand standards and creative identity of TELUS International, and support any internal or external campaigns. He or she will execute the creative activities through overall conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet marketing strategies and supports the objectives of the campaign/project. He or she will be responsible for driving the creative direction of campaigns s/he is managing by producing attractive and effective designs within a variety of different creative programs to sustain the brand standards and creative identity of the company.
