Job type: Long-Term Contract

To manage the secure and efficient storage of the organization’s data. You’ll also work to solve database errors, troubleshoot different storage issues and ensure the efficiency and security of data storage systems. We’re looking for someone who has experience in documenting and maintaining the configuration of the systems.

You will be Responsible for

  • Handling day-to-day issues related to the Backup Servers assigned.

  • Responsible for updating the assigned incidents with the right resolutions as performed on the cases

  • Should escalate the cases which require intervention by other teams

  • Communication with different areas and teams to work on required cases in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with Teams and Technical Consultants to discuss the pending cases to arrive at resolutions.

  • Flash high-risk cases to the Leads so that relevant MIMP cycles are initiated.

  • Exposure to managing Heterogeneous Environment. Handle an estimate of 10+ Servers and 15000+ Clients.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Professional with 9-10+ years of experience in the role.

  • Intermediate level of knowledge of Infrastructure such as Unix, Database, Windows.

  • Experience with Backup Technologies such as Dell EMC Networker or Avamar (optional NetBackup.)

  • Should have basic knowledge and experience in managing online backup modules such as Oracle, MSSQL, SAP, NDMP, etc.

  • Should have a good understanding of ITIL, Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
