Job Description: 

• Need Excellent knowledge on Mongodb community version 3.6,4.2,4.4 and better knowledge on open source monitoring tools.

• Architect and design solutions for database applications to migrate from on-prem oracle (relational) database to MongoDB

• Good experience in Designing, Capacity Planning, Administration, Installation, Implementation, Configuring, Troubleshooting, Performance tuning of MongoDB.

•  Good experience in monitoring multi-datacenter MongoDB replica Set and multi-shard cluster.

• Manual Backups and Restore are done using Mongodump, mongoexport and mongoimport depending on the needs.

• Need to Configure SSL certificates (Security) in Servers as well as work on automation scripts for monitoring processes.

• Have Worked on Performing MongoDB operations, including locking, transactions, indexes, sharding, replication, and schema design; performed CRUD operations in MongoDB.

•  Need Good experience in Upgraded MongoDB from 3.6.x to 4.2.x , 4.4.x with no downtime.

• Experience in troubleshooting chunk migrations, splitting and balancing across cluster.

•  Experience in writing automation scripts like memory alerts , log rotate and other mongodb shell related scripts.

• Need to configure Arbiter nodes , delay nodes and hidden nodes in sharded cluster based env.

• Experience in creating index based on long running queries.

•  Have knowledge on Appdynamics or any other open source tools to monitor metrics for mongodb.

• Need to support database patching support activities during off hours.

• Willing to work on weekends and on call rotations based on shifts when required.

• Designs and maintains access and security administration.

• Designs, implements and maintains backup and recovery strategies on Database Management Systems.

• Supports multiple services and multiple databases of medium complexity with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity and accessibility of data.

• Designs, installs, configures and maintains High Availability (RAC, RAC One Node, DataGuard etc.) Database solutions.

• Expertise in set up using OEM as a monitoring and diagnostics tool and identifies/resolves the performance issues.

• Troubleshoots alerts (alert log, Jobs, Disk Group, Tablespaces etc.) and performance issues.

•  Performs capacity planning of Oracle server environment and provides recommendations to management to sustain business growth.

•  Designs, implements, maintains Disaster Recovery (DR) methodologies and creates documentation.

• Gathers business requirements and designs, implements multiple projects along with the production support.
