Your role: 

As an active member of TELUS International, you will be at the core of the team managing the TELUS Offering/Product Catalog. Your focus will be on the configuration of Offering/Product Catalog change requests, implementation of business rules, developing applications and tools to support team processes as well as helping with quality assurance.

Offering Catalog is an extremely important component of an application supporting business. High quality of updates, as well as the short delivery timeline, helps TELUS be competitive and react to market needs. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Perform change requests configuration and verification in Offering/Product Catalog 

• Implement custom business rules using Java / JavaScript / SQL languages 

• Implement various applications/tools to support business processes and internal team 

• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and perform live demos 

• Design offering catalog model to support new business requirements 

• Support QA/Testing activities 

Mandatory Skills: 

● 3+ years experience working as a Java developer 

● Experience and strong knowledge of SQL (preferable using Oracle)

● Experience working with JavaScript, jQuery & HTML5/CSS 

● Experience working with Web Services / REST 

● Experience working with JAVA Application Servers (preferable Weblogic)

● Good communication skills / English B1

● Experience in working with business stakeholders directly 

● Experience in writing, updating, and improving technical user guides 

Desirable Skills: 

● Knowledge of Linux systems 

● Knowledge of Telecommunications Business 

● Experience in Agile Methodologies (SCRUM / Kanban) 

● Experience working with remote teams
