Job Description
  • Understand client business and reports.
  • Monitor existing reports generating jobs or tools.
  • Create new reports from existing or new reporting tools.
  • Analyze and confirm data quality.
  • Provide sound insight from data provided or gathered.
  • Troubleshoot, escalate, and provide issue resolution steps for data quality issues.
  • Learn and support other tools and applications as required by the client.
  • Manage administration of tools used as required by the client.
Job Qualifications:
  • General knowledge and understanding of delivery of information technology solutions and services to large business customers.
  • Knowledge of KPI reporting and benchmarking practices, statistical and trending analysis methods
  • Technical knowledge in Tableau/SQL/Power BI or equivalent
  • Knowledge in business process management skills.
  • Experience in quality management or business process management, ideally related to information technology. Intermediate knowledge and experience in relevant reporting tools
  • Knowledge in analyzing business requirements, understanding process lifecycle, documenting business requirements, methods and processes.

Additional Job Description

Business Data Analyst plays a critical and important role in the day-to-day operational support of TELUS. This position is responsible for supporting existing processes and reports generation that are key to the company’s trending analysis and decision making. As a key member of the team, you will provide reporting and analysis services
to the client on-demand and per schedule.
