Description and Requirements

As an active member of the TELUS International, you will be in the heart of a major transformation program supporting it as an AWS Support Engineer which will work with different internal teams and external vendors to provide the highest standards of Administration & Support for multiple applications in AWS. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide technical knowledge in the design, development, implementation/installation, maintenance, and support of applications in AWS.

  •  Troubleshoot & resolve issues with infrastructure and application.

  •  Provide 24/7 application support as part of a rotating on-call schedule

 

Required Skills

 

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  •  5+ years of experience in Information Technology development or infrastructure.

  • Experience in AWS concepts like EC2, EKS, S3, Lamda, Load Balancing, Route 53, ECS, VPC, Security Group, Subnet, Cloudtrail, Cloudwatch, IAM etc.

  •  Experience in CICD, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Dockers, Containers, Microservices.

  • Experience in AWS Cognito is a plus.

  • Experience in Dynatrace, Logz.io is a plus.

  • Experience in APIs is a plus.

  •  Experience with databases and SQL fundamentals.

  •  Experience with IT security concepts and IT-Networking protocols.
