Information Technology, Server Administration Analyst II - Desktop Engineer Management
About the role:
The Server Administration Analyst II has primary responsibility for assisting in the implementation, and maintenance (both proactive and reactive) of the desktop computing environment and peripherals. The Desktop Engineer maintains an enterprise-level desktop computing infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Plans, coordinates, designs, tests, and implements technical solutions for multiple concurrent projects, either individually or as a member of a project team
Maintains and operates monitoring and diagnostic equipment for capacity planning
Serves as the technical lead in the evaluation and recommendation of new virtual and physical desktop technologies.
Ensure computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, application servers, and administrative systems
Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows Operations Systems and Microsoft Applications or any other authorized desktop applications
Customize desktop hardware to meet user specifications and site standards
Use tools and methodologies to load, copy and customize operating system configurations for deployment
Responsible for tracking hardware and software inventory
Operates within, enforces, and suggests modifications and additions to desktop standards and guidelines
Maintains and consistently demonstrates a general knowledge of company guidelines, processes, practices, and procedures, putting into practice the company’s values.
Defines strategies for fast solving problems.
Other tasks as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.

Knowledge:
English - B1
•Oral and written comprehension.
•Appropriate use of language.
Knowledge in image standardization, patch deployment, software deployment, Desktop Virtualization, asset management (hardware and software), Group Policy Management - Desirable
ThinClient and ZeroClient management. Dell Wyse - Desirable
Create images for Operating Systems (.ISO, MDT & FOG), SCCM, WSUS (Patches and Software deployment ), Windows Server (Roles and Services), Asset life cycle, DHCP, DNS, WMI, AD, GPOs, VMware, VDI, App stack, ThinApp, VMware Horizon Client Configuration and Management. - It’s a plus
Studies & Experience:
Advance studies (last year) in Systems/Electronic Engineering or proven experience in VMware, Microsoft certifications - Desirable
Minimum 1 year of experience in a job field related to servers, and massive installation (around 10,000 in different GOs). - Desirable
Experienced on massive deploys - Desirable
Experience in supporting and developing Virtual Environments.
