Your role:
As an active member of the TELUS International, you will be in a core of team that focuses on new features, maintenance of existing application, delivering best user experience and high quality.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintains all network devices, applications and systems standards, maintains all back-end infrastructures fully functional this included: Firewall and network devices (routers, switches, wireless infrastructure), follow and enforce all IT policies and procedures, maintain and keep track of all SLA’s within the IT operations division, ability to work overtime when needed and able to participate in a 24/7 schedule rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Troubleshoots all network-related concerns, especially outages and downtime, in an expedient and efficient manner. This has been the highest priority for Tier 2 on duty.
Assists the Sr. Network Administrator in ensuring the continuous availability and reliability of network services (i.e. LAN / WAN) of the Company.
Implement policies and procedures to safeguard the data network from external / internal security risks. Global Network Standards are applied.
PCI compliance assurance and secure policies on firewalls.
Work in network related Kaseya/ServiceNow ticketing system within SLA ́s time goals.
During Canada Holidays, US Overnight and Weekends to Monitor Severity 1 & 2 TNI Lynx queue and Orion logs, Support not only TI business but TELUS MPLS infrastructure.
Comply with Change Management Process
Perform other project related duties as requested by management, performs hardware and software maintenance on network devices/ services.
Required Skills:
Proficient in Network Monitoring Tools such as Solarwinds (NPM, NCM, Netflow), PRTG, Netbrain Map creation and real time captures of network status
Proficient in managing Data and Voice networking equipment, including installation, configuration and maintenance
Knowledgeable in OSPF and BGP dynamic routing protocols and PBRs
Intermediate skills in generating and analyzing packet captures
Familiar with Proxy Services
Familiar with VoIP technologies (H 323/SIP) and TDM
Experienced in Network Firewalls, VPN technologies, ACLs, NAT
Knowledge in creating network diagrams
Knowledgeable in managing WIFI Instructure, Dot1x authentication, Wireless LAN Controllers, Access point
Required Knowledge:
Bachelor in Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
Network Certification CCNA R&S Certified, Started any CCNP track (1 exam min) or completed 2x CCNA | Palo Alto NGFW Knowledge (desirable)
2 years of network administrator or equivalent IT operations or tech support environment
English Written and verbal communication skills.
