Why is it important?

High-quality training data is quintessential to improve the precision of ML algorithms. Forbes lists ‘Autonomous Cars’ as one of the technology trends for the next decade and also estimates ML engineers spent 70% of their time in pre/post-processing & data management steps. Companies need to build sophisticated tooling (supporting all forms of sensor data), hire and manage hundreds of skilled people to ensure high-quality labelled data.

Our autonomous driving customers estimate 1 hour of video data needs 800 man-hours of manual human work. Today, in the wake of the autonomous car industry only a few million km of data has been labelled, and 10x more will be collected before the world sees them on
the road. Just as DevOps is critical to tech implementation, AI Ops will be a big challenge as AI development commercialises in the next 5-10 years. We aim to become an AI data platform, a critical part of the AI infrastructure stack.


  • Talk to customers & leads to understand what the Global Tech players need in a CV annotation platform
  • Work cross-functionally to build TI AI’s CV tools roadmap and use data to drive consensus and decision-making
  • Define key metrics around adoption, NPS, etc. and track them to measure success
  • Stay abreast of the market and the competitive landscape by conducting primary and secondary research
  • Work with product designers to understand user behaviour and improve product usability
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on tech-specs and ensure that all technical decisions are taken keeping in mind all short-term and long-term tradeoffs.
  • Work closely with Sales and Product Marketing teams on strategy & execution around distribution and pricing.


  • At least 3-4 years of product management or founder-level experience in building highly technical or developer-facing SaaS products.
  • Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that help you articulate customer problems precisely
  • Persistence and resourcefulness - a whatever-it-takes approach to problem-solving and delivering great customer experiences
  • You have an eye for great products and are able to influence business decisions with qualitative and quantitative reasoning.
  • Experience building Enterprise B2B products or games is a plus.
  • Computer Science, Math, or Engineering degree from a premier institute is a plus.

Additional Job Description

As a Product Manager of CV Tools at TI AI, you will devise the strategy, develop the roadmap, and oversee the execution and launch of some of the highest impact initiatives that are aimed at creating the world's most advanced annotation products for Computer Vision.

You will be the single point of contact for the Engineering and Business teams. You will drive collaboration, and consensus by creating a shared understanding of success and rally everyone towards it.
