About the role
As a Recruitment Analyst IV for the Sourcing Digital Solutions area, you are responsible for overseeing the recruiting and vetting process for internal and external candidates. Our Recruiters are in charge of the end-to-end selection process for all tech requirements in Latin America, in both internal and external processes. We post jobs on internal portals mainly but also reach out to those qualified external candidates when required. The role also involves: Assessing the applicant's technical background, knowledge about skills and technologies, negotiation, conducting interviews in order to present approved candidates to management, and endorsement.
Responsibilities:
Create Job Postings
The Recruitment Analyst IV helps to craft and post job listings on job recruitment boards and other websites to attract skilled applicants.
The Recruitment Analyst IV works closely with hiring managers to identify the role’s key duties and core competencies along with any educational or certification requirements before posting the job and opening it to applicants.
Locate Candidates
Use internal channels to identify candidates with the necessary skills sets for the sought position.
Use online external channels to identify external candidates and provide relevant information to them about TELUS Digital and squares for being considered.
Process Candidates
Recruitment Analyst IV is responsible for screening resumes to determine which candidates meet the minimum requirements and move chosen candidates on to the next step in the hiring process.
Validate language proficiency and diagnose technical and personal competences through automated assessment tools.
Recruitment Analyst IV is responsible for conducting initial interviews to narrow the number of potential candidates who will be interviewed by the hiring manager.
Support Fair Hiring Practices
Support overall company adherence to fair hiring practices by periodically reviewing hiring and interviewing processes and assessing job postings to ensure that they are free of bias. This part of the job requires that the Recruitment Analyst IV possesses a thorough understanding of the Fair Process to take the necessary steps to bring the organization into compliance.
Daily Job Duties
Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and play a role of a consultant providing support with job profile validation and analysis for the role.
Partnering with key support areas to ensure we all follow the standard procedures and all parties are aligned to guarantee all internal applicants receive the correct information while applying to a job opportunity.
Screening resumes
Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
Administering appropriate company assessments
Performing reference and background checks
Providing feedback to applicants and keeping them updated throughout the entire selection process
Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
Following up on the interview process status
Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
Actively promote internal and external sourcing initiatives to identify potential talent for job opportunities in operations and support areas.
Periodically participate in development initiatives such as workshops, growth sessions and career talks to encourage our team members to better perform during a selection process.
Updating reports on job requisitions activity
Follow the standard process in the system to guarantee the accuracy of the data so we can monitor workload and to be in compliance with our regular SLAs.
Skills:
Technical skills –web-based technology knowledge and social media to support recruiting efforts, so computer and technical skills are essential in this role
Networking – Great Negotiator– Able to build professional relationships
Team coordination – Be able to effectively coordinate team activities to achieve common goals
Analytical thinking – Excellent analytical skills in order to examine applicant resumes to find suitable candidates
Communication skills – written and verbal communication are important in this position
Knowledge:
English Proficiency - B2 (75%-80%) - Required
Hands-on experience with job sites
Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
Clear understanding of profile analysis
Studies & Experience:
Bachelor degree in any field or 3rd year completed related to Human Resources or Psychology - is a plus
One year of demonstrated experience in Recruitment managing full cycle recruiting with a high degree of autonomy - Mandatory
Proven experience in managing the end-to-end recruitment process for technical roles, from job posting and sourcing to interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
Strong profession-focused technical skills, including, but not limited to: Avature, Workday, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and internet sourcing methodologies - Mandatory
Strategic Sourcing experience in job portals and/or job boards (LinkedIn, Tecoloco, Quiero aplicar, etc.)
Experience in job fairs and PR events
Knowledge in technical profiles is a plus
IT Recruitment Certification (DevSkiller) - Desirable
