Your Role

As an active member of TELUS International, you will be in the heart of a major transformation program supporting it as a QA Automation Engineer who will takes ownership of client interaction and is accountable for effective outcomes beyond that interaction. Also responsible for the creation of tests to identify issues with software before the product launch.


Responsibilities

  • Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.

  • Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.

  • Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.

  • Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.

  • Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.

  • Designing and installing software databases.

  • Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.

  • Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.

  • Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.


Skills Sets

  • Automation Testing (Java/Selenium)

  • Knowledge of Service Level Testing

  • HP ALM/QC

  • SQL Server Mgmt. Studio, Oracle, SQL Developer

  • Manufacturing/WMS

  • Siebel (preferable)

  • Oracle ERP Knowledge/Experience of following Tools

  • Clarify à Amdocs Systems (preferable)
