We are looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. You will join a team of talented tech writers who work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to make our products easier to use.
Required Skills:
At least 5 years of experience in technical writing of software documentation.
Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail.
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable by using a flow diagram/sequence diagram/UML etc..
Creative skills and usage of drawings, diagrams, charts that increase users’ understanding.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Visio/UML tools.
Proven work experience on designing different diagrams, Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role.
Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces.
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of Telecommunications Business
Experience in Agile Methodologies
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
Create and maintain the information architecture
Competences:
Fluency in technical and common office software
Ability to pay attention to details
Written and oral communication skills
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter
Ability to check all technical material for consistency and accuracy
