Description and Requirements

We're seeking a talented and passionate Automation-Manual Test Engineer to join our team! You'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications by creating a strong bridge between development and quality assurance.

In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in both manual and automation testing to:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify and resolve software defects across web applications.
  • Utilize your programming skills (Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) to automate repetitive test cases using Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and BDD frameworks.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to understand requirements, identify potential issues early on, and ensure successful deployments.
  • Perform manual testing to uncover defects that may not be easily automated.
  • Write clear and concise bug reports to facilitate effective resolution by developers.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for identifying the root cause of issues.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers, stakeholders, and other team members.
  • Experience with the following:
    • Core Java concepts and programming
    • Object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
    • Front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
    • Automation testing tools (Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, BDD/Gherkins)
    • Maven, Git version control, and Jenkins for CI/CD
    • Programming editors/IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ)
    • Testing APIs and web services (REST & SOAP)
    • SQL querying and data manipulation
    • Working across different operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux)

Bonus points if you have experience with:

  • API testing frameworks (e.g., Rest Assured)
  • Mobile application testing
  • Performance testing tools
