Description and Requirements
TELUS International is looking for a certified Process & Data Analyst to join our team. You will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The duties include but are not limited to conducting full lifecycle analysis to requirements, activities and design. You will be involved in developing analysis and reporting capabilities as well as monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
Responsibilities:
Process modelling (Preferably BPMN 2.0) & process documentation
Creation of documentation templates, support document version control
Creation & articulation of requirements documentation
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics preferred
Minimum 2.5–3 years of relevant work experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
Strong knowledge of process modelling and experience of creating process & requirements documentations
Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases, and programming: such as Business Objects, SQL, XML, JavaScript, Python or R
Knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical packages for analyzing datasets: such as Excel, Power BI
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Possibility to work full-time onsite.
Knowledge:
English - B1 or above required
