About the role

The General Finance Manager will work with cross functional teams across TELUS International globally, to execute revenue assurance projects as well as to coordinate efforts to consolidate global policies for the area. Provides end-to-end accountability and management of all strategic initiatives that are implemented within the area (planning, monitoring & execution) to help the organization achieve healthy profitability levels.


Responsibilities:
Apply strong management techniques and skills to ensure a successful implementation of all strategic initiatives, apply strong leadership skills to remove obstacles and resolve conflicts, document and monitor impacts of all the controls proposed by the team. Work closely with Revenue Assurance Analysts and  all teams involved (WFM/ Operations/ AGM/ Directors/ CRMs) to ensure timely implementation and execution of projects in place. Review and assess controls of the operational processes across TELUS International with an emphasis on finding applicable revenue/costs control weaknesses for future prevention and detection; Liaise with geographic and business unit primes regarding the correction of key deficiencies found; Provide an exceptional level of service assistance to business unit requests for research investigations and provide follow ups of supporting analysis where required; Work actively to support all global initiatives to identify possible synergies within key processes a well as definition of standard controls where applicable; among other.

Knowledge:

  • English - B2:

• Oral and written comprehension.

• Appropriate use of the English language.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and analytical skills

  • Knowledge of financial analysis and Corporate Finance theory and application 

  • Knowledge of  financial modeling


Studies & Experience:

  • University Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering - Desirable

  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Accounting - Desirable

  • Proven experience in auditing processes - Desirable

  • 1 year in a BPO, Contact Centre support and/or billing environment - Desirable.
