As a Splunk Developer at TELUS International Digital Solutions, you will leverage your proficiency in Splunk, AppDynamics, and Datadog to create robust solutions. Join us for a dynamic full-time role where you'll design, develop, and integrate of Splunk solutions for enhanced data analytics and security.  This is a contract-to-hire, on-site role located in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop and integrate Splunk solutions to optimize data analytics and system performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex security and troubleshooting challenges.

• Design security systems to safeguard data against unauthorized disclosure or modification.

• Contribute to the development of web services/APIs for enhanced system functionality.

• Leverage your expertise in Java service environments to enhance application capabilities.

• Participate in deployment/release planning and provide log monitoring and troubleshooting support.

• Engage in incident management and contribute to maintaining system integrity.

• Utilize your knowledge of Kubernetes/Camunda to enhance solution efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• 7+ years of software development and systems integration experience.

• Proficiency in Splunk, with a track record of developing impactful dashboards and queries.

• Strong experience with AppDynamics and Datadog for system monitoring and performance analysis.

• Expertise in Java service environments and web service/API development.

• Proficiency in log monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management.

• Familiarity with Linux VM, deployment/release planning, and Kubernetes/Camunda.

• Knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, DNS, IDS/IPS, proxies, etc.

• Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to excel under pressure.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.

Education/Certifications  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

• Relevant certifications in Splunk, AppDynamics, or related technologies (a plus).
