As a Project Manager at TELUS International, you will take on a pivotal role in managing the entire project lifecycle. You will be responsible for defining project objectives, overseeing implementation, and ensuring that projects meet their scope, cost, schedule, and quality goals. Your strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will be key in driving projects to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from project definition through implementation.

  • Ensure that projects meet agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and drive project milestones.

  • Establish effective communication plans with project teams and key stakeholders.

  • Provide daily direction to project resources and foster effective change management throughout the project.

  • Prepare documentation, status reports, and budgets to track project progress.

  • Proactively manage project stakeholders’ expectations and communicate accordingly.

  • Host project control meetings per agreed cadence both internally and externally

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed


Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong expertise in project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving

  • Specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills to effectively work with diverse teams and stakeholders

  • Thorough understanding of Project Management methodologies, principles, and practices such as Waterfall, Agile, and SCRUM

  • Proven experience in executing and delivering on objectives; previous experience managing change orders and risk management is a must.

  • Comfortable interacting with vendors, clients, and internal teams to negotiate, communicate, and influence to meet project needs 

  • Strong analytical skills to seek creative and innovative ways to deliver client solutions

Education/Certifications  

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (preferred).
