We are looking for an experienced Java lead to be responsible for providing solutions for technical issues which may affect product delivery. The Java lead will facilitate requirement analysis, conduct peer reviews and provide feedback, and enhance frameworks.


To be successful as a Java lead, you should demonstrate sound knowledge of industry best practices, good organizational and leadership skills, and proficiency in Java technologies. Ultimately, a top-notch Java Lead should have good analytical skills, the ability to anticipate issues and frame remedial actions, and excellent teamwork skills.


Responsibilities: 


  • The Java Leader is responsible for mentoring the team on the technical solution and creating technical leadership within the team. 

  • Responsible and accountable for technical decision-making.

  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

  • Support requirements gathering, solution designing, planning phases.

  • Be an active team member, support other developers / QA / BA.

  • Responsible for the detailed design, documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of applications.


Required Skills: 


  • Degree in engineering, information systems or related.

  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills.

  • 7+ years of experience working with  Java programming language, Node.js and Terraform.


  • Experience leading development teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise to team members for their growth.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.


  • Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.


  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.


  • Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL and Cassandra DB.


  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.


  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.


  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.


  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.
