Compliance and Audit, Systems Security Analyst -TELUS International El Salvador & Guatemala


 

About the role

Supports operations in ensuring ongoing compliance to TI information security standards and programs contractual requirements/Code of conduct

In a high level this role is expected to carry out the following: 

-Monitor ongoing information security compliance for TICA and TIUS regions.  Ensure compliance to TI Global Security & Risk policies.

-Monitor for ongoing compliance with program contractual and code of conduct requirements.

-Ensure remediation efforts are undertaken where non-compliance is identified.

-Point of contact for process change requests on the account.

-Periodic reporting on compliance activity internally and to the customers.

 


Responsibilities:

  • Regularly perform internal audits on policies, procedures, and practices; and identify the risk and non-compliance and have it documented and reported as needed. (This includes compliance in the areas of privacy, telecom, security, client contractual security regulations, and as required with changing laws/regulations & contracts.)

  • Support the external Security Certifications and Client audits by engaging the different stakeholders and providing required supporting documents as needed.

  • Provide compliance reports to the management to showcase compliance and recommend opportunities to strengthen the existing controls as necessary.

  • Perform periodic risk assessments for different TELUS International sites and for different logos to ensure that the contract is operating as agreed or as deemed necessary.

  • Support ad hoc Information Security projects as required.

Knowledge:

  • Proficiency with GSuite applications

  • English - B2: - Mandatory.

• Oral and written comprehension.

• Appropriate use of language.

 

Studies & Experience:

  • Graduate of management course in computer science or related field of study, or equivalent professional experience- Mandatory

  • Certification: CISA, Security+, GSEC - Preferred

  • 3-5 years of information security experience - Desirable

  • Experience in IT - Desirable
